This is neither an equivalent or a substitute, but its worth remembering that the thermostat used in Triumphs are identical to those used in many other British Marques, and thus are available almost anywhere! Other marques include Jaguar, Morris, Austin, BL & MG.

Lights : Stainless Steel bezel for L594 type light: (for GT6 Mk1-2, Spitfire 1-4 & others)

These bezels are used on vehicles equipped with Lucas L594 and L488 lamps. The original part is chromes steel and prone to pitting and rust especially if they become bent or scored whilst replacing bulbs. These stainless replacements are cheaper than the originals, and a good idea for a daily driver as a 'fit and forget' part. They aren't quite as shiny as chrome, but still look great. Lights : Rubber boot for L594 type light: (for GT6 Mk1-2, Spitfire 1-4, TR2-3 & others)
Part No: 478 (short type for L594 lamp) & 477 (long type for L488 lamp)

This rubber boot is part of the sidelight, indicator and reversing light assembly on the vehicles noted above. The same part is used on many other British 'Lucas' equipped cars of the same era (Morris 1000, Mini etc).
It's worth noting that the L488 type lamps found on many Standard and Austin Healey vehicles also use a similar boot (part: 477) which is longer to accommodate the more 'back-set' lamp holders - this longer version can be used as a substitute on Triumphs.
